Construction of Pershing Bikeway began in January 2022 and is expected to open to the public in Spring 2024.
Budget and Project Funding
Funding for design, engineering, and construction of the Pershing Bikeway is provided by the regional TransNet half-cent sales tax for transportation administered by SANDAG. Construction costs for the Pershing Bikeway are estimated to be approximately $13.7 million.
