Update: Night Work at Platforms 1 and 3, September 25-29

Crews will be working at night this week to install drainage trenches and other foundation work, as well as pour concrete at Platform 1 (near the station) and finish items at Platform 3 (the southernmost platform) such as installing signage. Work will occur nightly Monday through Friday from approximately 11:30 p.m. to 8 a.m. Nearby residents should expect noise and lights associated with this work. (Posted 9/25/17)

Night Work Near Wisconsin Avenue, May 10 & 11

Crews will be working overnight to remove materials from the rail area south of Wisconsin Avenue on Wednesday, May 10, from 10 p.m. to approximately 5 a.m. on May 11, and the same hours starting the evening of Thursday, May 11 to early morning May 12. Nearby residents should expect noise and lights associated with this work. Test Trains Continue Overnight May 5 & 6; Night Work Also Scheduled for May 6

Test trains and horns continue overnight Friday, May 5, midnight - 4 a.m. Additional testing also is scheduled for overnight Saturday, May 6, midnight - 4 a.m. Nearby residents and those traveling in the area can expect to hear the horns during these hours. In addition to the test train runs, crews will be moving materials near the station at Oceanside Transit Center on Saturday, May 6, from approximately 9 p.m. to midnight. Night Work Extended and Temporary Sidewalk Closure 

Night work at Oceanside Transit Center has been extended through the week of April 24. Crews will continue to work on constructing the new third track, and testing the new track, walkway, signals, and rail switches. Nearby residents can expect nighttime noise and lights. Crews will do their best to minimize impacts to nearby residents and businesses.

During the week of April 24 – 28, crews will temporarily close access to a portion of the sidewalk on the west side of the parking garage. Those who utilize the garage will still be able to exit on the north and south sides but should avoid the closed portion of the sidewalk.
