LOSSAN Rail Corridor Agency
The
LOSSAN Rail Corridor Agency is a joint powers agency formed in 1989 to coordinate intercity rail service between Los Angeles and San Diego. In 2001, the agency expanded to include rail agencies and operators north of Los Angeles to San Luis Obispo. With this change, all rail agencies along the entire Pacific Surfliner corridor are represented on LOSSAN. Together, these agencies work to increase ridership, revenue, capacity, reliability, and safety on the coastal rail line from San Diego to San Luis Obispo.
