The San Dieguito Lagoon Wetland Restoration Project Phase II encompasses approximately 154 acres of land east of Interstate 5 and adjacent to the San Dieguito River. Construction crews will take all reasonable steps to minimize impacts to important coastal environmental resources and neighboring communities that include:

• Reduce truck movement through local streets
• Minimize nighttime construction lighting and noise, when feasible
• Safeguard construction materials near sensitive habitat
• Install noise barriers around some construction equipment
