The I-805 HOV/Carroll Canyon Road Extension Project was completed on April 4, 2014.

The project cost was $94.8 million and was financed by a combination of funds from the City of San Diego, including $2.7 million from Qualcomm, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, and TransNet funds.
